Omics technologies allow in depth, high-content analysis of brain samples. Sylics has excellent possibilities to provide state-of-the-art transcriptome analyses using massive parallel sequencing. NanoCage technology is used to capture only minute amounts of total RNA for accurate measurements.

Sylics can provide various types of quantitative proteomics and mass spectrometry. Proteomics analysis include a full workflow from brain tissue, or smaller entities, to identification and quantification of proteins. See Counotte et al. 2009 for an example. >Download pdf.

Sylics can offer (immuno-)histochemical analyses of CNS tissue at request. A large collection of antibodies is available to swiftly produce and analyze stainings. A suit of biochemical analyses can be performed, including detection of specific antigens (e.g. soluble AB42). Please contact us to address your specific needs.
